Subject: bluebird trail certification?
Hi All
Is there such a thing as a "certification" for bluebird trails?
Does anyone know of any organizations that do this?
... Thanks

Audobon certifies golf courses that are "bird friendly." There are some courses that covet these certifications, others could care less. There are hoops to jump through, of course, but Audobon's website should have necessary information. They then can dictate to the course's greens manager what kinds of herbicides, etc., they may use.

Hi All, Well at times I feel I am Certifiable, but when NABS or the BB books say 5 boxes equals a Trail...that is what I go by. I hope someday to ...grade Trails and rate them by what they do or don't do...with hopes that people will strive to get the best equipment..and to be educated and use all they know to their best.
As to Audubon certifying... the golf course here gave me the books etc on this program... it is Not by the Audubon Club that we know, but by another organization that also uses the name. I saw a little concern to want to get certified by them, but they were not working any to fast in those directions.
